Day 1Arrive in Kathmandu

On your first day, you’ll touch down in the vibrant city of Kathmandu, the heart of Nepal. After a smooth transfer to your hotel, you’ll have time to rest and acclimate to the time zone. To kick off your adventure, we’ve planned a welcome dinner where you can meet your fellow travelers and savor the flavors of Nepalese cuisine.

Day 2Sightseeing in pashupati and Buddhanath

On your second day, you’ll embark on a spiritual journey to two of Kathmandu’s most iconic religious sites: Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa.

Pashupatinath Temple: A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Pashupatinath is one of the holiest Hindu temples in the world. You’ll witness Hindu pilgrims performing sacred rituals along the Bagmati River, and observe the intricate architecture of the main temple.

Boudhanath Stupa: This massive Buddhist stupa is a major pilgrimage site for Tibetan Buddhists. You’ll have the opportunity to circumambulate the stupa, spin prayer wheels, and experience the serene atmosphere.

As you explore these sacred sites, you’ll gain insights into the rich cultural and religious heritage of Nepal.

Day 3Drive to Nagarkot

Today, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to Nagarkot, a hill station renowned for its breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas. As you ascend the winding roads, you’ll be treated to stunning vistas of lush valleys, terraced fields, and distant mountain peaks.

Upon reaching Nagarkot, you’ll check into your cozy hotel and have the opportunity to relax and unwind. In the evening, you can enjoy a leisurely stroll, take in the fresh mountain air, and witness a mesmerizing sunset over the Himalayas.

Day 4A Scenic Trek to Dhulikhel

Today, you’ll embark on a moderate trek from Nagarkot to Dhulikhel. This scenic trail offers stunning views of the Himalayas, lush forests, and charming villages. As you hike, you’ll encounter friendly locals, explore quaint hamlets, and immerse yourself in the serene beauty of the Nepalese countryside.

Upon reaching Dhulikhel, you’ll check into a cozy hotel and have the opportunity to explore the town’s historic temples and vibrant local market. In the evening, you can relax, reflect on the day’s experiences, and prepare for your next adventure.

Day 5A trek to Namobuddha

Today, you’ll embark on a spiritually significant trek to Namobuddha, a sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site. The trail winds through picturesque landscapes, offering stunning views of the surrounding valleys and distant mountains. As you ascend, you’ll feel a sense of tranquility and reverence for the holy site.

Upon reaching Namobuddha, you’ll be captivated by the serene atmosphere and the magnificent stupa, which is believed to be the site where a prince renounced his worldly possessions to become the Buddha. You can explore the stupa, meditate, and connect with the peaceful energy of the place.

After spending time at the stupa, you’ll descend to a nearby village, where you’ll stay overnight in a cozy guesthouse.

Day 6A Cultural Journey to Panauti

Today, you’ll embark on a cultural trek to Panauti, an ancient Newari town renowned for its well-preserved temples, traditional architecture, and rich cultural heritage.

As you hike through the scenic countryside, you’ll encounter picturesque villages and terraced fields. Upon reaching Panauti, you’ll be transported back in time as you explore the town’s narrow, winding streets, adorned with intricate wood carvings and traditional Newari houses.

You can visit the Indreshwar Temple, one of the most significant Hindu temples in Nepal, and marvel at its exquisite architecture. You can also wander through the local market, where you can find unique handicrafts, traditional textiles, and delicious local delicacies.

After a day of cultural exploration, you’ll return to your accommodation in Panauti, where you can relax and reflect on your experiences.

Day 7A Relaxing Day in Kathmandu

After a few days of trekking, it’s time to return to the bustling city of Kathmandu. You’ll enjoy a scenic drive back, taking in the sights of the countryside.

Upon arrival, you can check into your hotel and relax. Perhaps you’ll want to indulge in a rejuvenating spa treatment, explore local markets, or simply unwind in your hotel room.

Day 8Fly to Pokhara

Today, you’ll fly to the beautiful city of Pokhara, often referred to as the “Lake City.” Nestled amidst stunning mountain ranges, Pokhara offers a serene and picturesque setting.

Upon arrival, you’ll check into your hotel and have the rest of the day to relax and unwind. You might choose to take a leisurely stroll along the shores of Phewa Lake, rent a boat to explore the lake, or simply enjoy the breathtaking views of the Annapurna range.

In the evening, you can indulge in a delicious dinner at one of the many lakeside restaurants, or perhaps join a yoga or meditation class to further your relaxation.

Day 9Exploring the Beauty of Pokhara

Today, you’ll embark on a day of sightseeing to explore the stunning natural beauty and cultural heritage of Pokhara.

Morning:

  • Phewa Lake: Begin your day with a serene boat ride on Phewa Lake. As you glide across the crystal-clear waters, you’ll be surrounded by breathtaking views of the Annapurna range, including the majestic Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) peak.
  • Barahi Temple: Visit this ancient Hindu temple located on a small island in the middle of Phewa Lake.

Afternoon:

  • International Mountain Museum: Immerse yourself in the world of mountaineering at this fascinating museum. Learn about the history of mountaineering in Nepal, view stunning photographs, and explore exhibits on local culture and traditions.
  • Devi’s Falls: Witness the raw power of nature at Devi’s Falls, where water cascades down a steep cliff, creating a mesmerizing spectacle.
  • Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave: Venture into the depths of the earth and explore the sacred Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, a Hindu pilgrimage site.

Day 10Drive to kade and trek to Pathana

Today, you’ll embark on a scenic drive to the trailhead at Nayapul. From here, you’ll start your trek to the picturesque village of Ghorepani. As you ascend through lush forests and terraced fields, you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the Annapurna range.

In the evening, you’ll reach Ghorepani, a charming village nestled amidst rhododendron forests. You can relax at your cozy lodge, enjoy a delicious dinner, and prepare for the highlight of your trip – the Poon Hill sunrise trek.

Day 11Trek to Phedi and drive to Pokhara

Early Morning:

  • Poon Hill Sunrise Trek: Wake up early to embark on a challenging but rewarding trek to Poon Hill. As you ascend the steep trail, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the Annapurna range, including Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) peak. Witness the magical moment as the first rays of sunlight illuminate the snow-capped peaks.

Late Morning:

  • Trek to Ghorepani: After the sunrise, you’ll descend back to Ghorepani for breakfast.
  • Drive to Phedi: From Ghorepani, you’ll trek downhill to Phedi.
  • Drive to Pokhara: Once you reach Phedi, you’ll board a vehicle and drive back to Pokhara.

Evening:

  • Relaxation: Upon arrival in Pokhara, you can relax at your hotel, indulge in a massage, or enjoy a leisurely dinner by the lake.

This will be a memorable day filled with breathtaking views and a sense of accomplishment.

Day 12Drive back to Kathmandu

After a memorable adventure in Pokhara, it’s time to head back to Kathmandu. You’ll embark on a scenic drive, taking in the stunning landscapes of the Nepalese countryside.

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you can check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing, reflecting on your incredible journey, and perhaps exploring the city’s vibrant markets or indulging in a farewell dinner.

Day 13Departure to your destination

Your incredible journey through Nepal comes to an end today. After a leisurely breakfast, you’ll check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport. You’ll board your flight, carrying with you unforgettable memories of breathtaking landscapes, cultural experiences, and spiritual rejuvenation.
