This trail includes the view of Everest base camp and also goes through renowned regions like Lukla, Namche Bazar, Tengboche and much of the Khumbu district. The scenery is true to its fame with matching culture laced with wild adventure experiences. Hiking by the delightful Dudh Koshi River, into the capital of the Khumbu – Namche on our way up to Gokyo valley, viewing the grand Ngozumpa glacier- the biggest glacier in Nepal, as we make a beeline for Cho La pass and the majestic scenery from Gokyo Ri and Kalapathar, makes our journey a blockbuster of an outing to remember for years.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu airport - (1,350m)

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu one of ours team representative will be there to greet you and transferred to the hotel. After check-in and some refreshments, our Sherpa guide will briefly describe you about the trek. At the evening you can walk around the street to get familiar with the neighborhood and or stay at the hotel.

Day 2Flight to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2,652m) - 3 hours

We catch an early flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, of 45minutes trilling experience viewing stunning mountain scenarios and land onto a steep mountain runway. After arrival, we will have breakfast and start our journey following a gentle climb into the Dudh Kosi village and stay overnight in Phakding.

Day 3Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) - 6 hours

Early morning after breakfast at Phakding, we march toward ours next destination Namche with ups & downs and pass crossing a few suspensions bridges, and arrive at the entrance gate of Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo. After we enter into the national park, we’ll follow the upwards trail into the village of Jorsalle decorated with the stunning view of Kusum Kanguru, Thamserku, Everest, and Nuptse on the backdrop. We will further take a steep hike and reach at an elevation of 3440m, in one of the most popular village of Khumbu; Namche and rest our day.

Day 4Acclimatization Day in Namche (3,440m)

Namche is located between two ridges amidst the giant peaks of the Khumbu. The memorable vantage of today is to get more information about this mysterious mountain market place. We set out for acclimatizing hiking around the Namche Bazaar, to the top of Namche in the Everest View Hotel for the sunset view of Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Everest. We then visit to Khunde Hospital and a school established by Sir Edmund Hillary. Moreover, while strolling the place we dive into the Sherpa monasteries. After going through our acclimatization drills, we head down to our lodge for some beers & good sleep.

Day 5Trek to Dole Village (4040m)- 6 hours

Early morning, we will begin our trek in a well- organized trail until Sanasa and ascends up to Mongla (4000m) were we can view the panoramic views of mountains range. Following the steeply descend trail, we pass through the rhododendron and birch forest with yak pastures stupa (3,992m) to the peak of the rocky village of Mon La stupa and halt our day at the teahouse.

Day 06Trek to Machhermo village (4150m)- 4 hours

After breakfast we departure from Dole and steadily climb up to the Dudh Koshi Valley. As we march into the trail, we will reach above the tree line and the landscape changes into the small bunch of junipers with the rising altitude that’s makes uncomfortable in breathing. We will continue our hike across the rocky moraines up to the base of Kyojo Ri and Machhermo Peak and rest our day at an altitude of 4150 with a warm dinner in the Machhermo village.

Day 07Trek to Gokyo (4750m)- 5 hours

Early morning, we wrap ours bag and trek to the Pangka trail with the stunning scene of melt-water rivers which flow down the west side of Ngozumpa Glacier. Slowly we ascend into the Rocky Mountains valley and trek through Longpongo Lake, Taochelake (where Tibetan Ducks are often seen swimming in the freezing water), before we reach to the third lake called Dudh Pokharai at incredible Gokyo village.

Day 08Trek to Thagnank (4661m)- 5 hours

After having breakfast, we will start our trek with a smooth ascend along the glacier experiencing the Himalayan wild birds and crossing the crevasses glacier river until we reach Thagnank. Thangnak is even known as the base camp of Chola Pass where we rest our day at the teahouse.

Day 9Trek to Dzongla (4830m) - 6 hours

We will begin our trek early in the morning in the fresh atmosphere to capture the beautiful nature. As we ascend through the path; we venture the stream through the yak pastures and see Chola Pass locating at 5420m above the sea level. After we trek up into the route of Cho La Pass, we will then walk downhill into the valley called Dzongla. The Chola Pass route is even known as the dangerous trail due to its frequent changing climate. We rest ours bag at the teahouse.

Day 10Trek to Lobuche (4930m)- 4 hours

Early morning, we could see the stunning panoramic views of the mountains range and resume ours trekking journey. As we drive into the trek, we could see Chola glacier flowing from the saddle between the cliffs of Cholatse and Tawache peaks with the uneven display of natural beauty. We continue our walk on the barren landscape and halt for lunch at the tea house in Duglha village. In the trek we climb up to the stone cairns, built as memorials to the many Sherpas who have died while climbing Mt Everest and eventually reach the cluster of houses at Lobuche. We enjoy our meals and set for sleep.

Day 11Trek to Gorakshep and walk to EBC (overnight at Gorakshep)- (5380m) - 8 hours

After having breakfast, we trail to the steeply rocky trails of Khumbu Glacier towards the settlement in Gorakshep. After we have lunch at Gorakshep, we continue our hike towards the Everest Base Camp (5,340m) from where we will again descend back to Gorakshep for overnight stay. This wonderful village is surround by beautiful mountains including Pumori (7,145m), Lingtren (6,697m), Nuptse (7,745m) and of course Everest (8,848m).

Day 12Hike to Kalapatthar (5545m) and Trek to Pheriche (4250m)- 9 hours

Today is the main day of yours journey where we hike a rough and tough path to the world popular Kala Patthar for the stunning views of Mt Everest and surrounding mountains like Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lingtren, Mt. Khumbetse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam, and Mt. Thamserku along with many other peaks. After capturing the mesmerizing nature, we descend downhill to Pheriche village. The HRA (Himalayan Rescue Association) Aid post is located at Pheriche health post where foreign volunteer doctors are providing medical treatment.

Day 13Trek to Namche (3440m)- 8 hours

Finally, we descend our trek passing through several villages and halt for lunch at Sanasa villages and continue our journey enjoying the beautiful decorated path with rhododendron forest until we reach khumjung village which offers traditional landscapes and Yeti Scalp. Finally, we arrive to Namche Bazaar in the late afternoon.

Day 14Trek to Lukla - 8 hours

Following the morning breakfast, we continue our trek to Lukla along the Dudh Koshi River. The trail goes steeply downward with rocky terrain of around 8 hours long walk from Namche to Lukla. On this day, our time at exotic Sagarmatha National Park will come to an end. We pass through the rhododendron, pine and oaks forest and several snow-covered peaks. Overnight at local lodge.

Day 15Fly Back to Kathmandu

Usually, flight from Lukla to Kathmandu is scheduled in the early morning. Capturing the wonderful moments amongst the majestic mountain we flight from lukla to Kathmandu for about forty-five minutes. We finally land at Kathmandu airport to inhale the city air and are transferred to the hotel to relax and enjoy. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 16Departure Day

As per yours flight schedule, we will drop you to the international airport three hours before our scheduled flight to catch to fly back to your home and pray for your Safe journey.
