Island Peak 

After your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport situated at the capital city of Nepal known as Kathmandu, you will be warmly welcomed by our official representative and transferred to hotel by four wheelers. After your check-in some refreshments drink will be provided and our experienced Sherpa guide will be there to brief you about the trek. After that you can stroll down the street to get familiar with neighborhood, have supper and relax.

After breakfast in the hotel we begin our sightseeing tour exploring the two cultural World heritage sites of Pashupatinath and Boudhanath. In the beginning, you will visit Pashupatinath which is one of the holiest Hindu temples in the world dedicated to Lord Shiva. Then, we will continue our drive to Bouddha which is the world’s biggest stupa located about 2 km from Pashupatinath temple. Back to the hotel and spend the rest of the time by yourself.

Early in the morning, you’ll embark on an exhilarating 30-minute flight to Lukla, one of the highest airports in the world. As you land, you’ll be greeted with breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, our supportive team member will be there to assist you as you begin your hike to Phakding, which typically takes 3-4 hours through the Dudhkosi valley.

Along the way, you’ll cross some impressive local-style suspension bridges, offering stunning vistas of peaks like Kusum and Kanggru (6367m), and observe intricately carved Buddhist homes. Your journey will continue with a gradual ascent until you reach the charming village of Phakding, situated at an altitude of 2652m, where you’ll spend the night.

After warm breakfast at Phakding, we will set out for our second day hiking to the mountain junction town; Namche where we cross and re-cross the river on high airy suspension bridges. Beyond Mojo is the entrance to the Sagarmatha National Park (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) which was set-up to protect and preserve the fragile mountain environment and the creatures. We then take a steep hike to Namche Bazar which is recognized as the gateway to Khumbu valley. If the weather is clear, we get the first glimpse to capture the Mt Everest (known as Sagarmatha). Namche has been the trading hub village in the Khumbu region with a busy Saturday market – a meeting place for the Hindu traders from the lowlands and the Tibetan yak caravans that have crossed the glaciated Nangpa La. This is where we crash out for the night.

At this point, we take a well-deserved break! Today we will be spent resting and allowing our bodies to become acclimatized to the lofty altitude. There’s an optional 2-hour hike to Everest View Point, an uphill walk that will help speed acclimatization. Otherwise, spend the day exploring Namche Bazaar. Check out the Sherpa museum for an overview of the Sherpa culture and history of mountaineering. On Saturdays, the Hatt Bazaar is open for trading and an intimate look at the locals’ marketplace. It is part of the larger Namche Bazaar, a shopping hub filled with all manner of trekking and mountaineering clothing and equipment.

Early morning, we will begin our trek in a well- organized trail until Sanasa and ascends up to Mongla (4000m) were we can view the panoramic views of mountains range. Following the steeply descend trail, we pass through the rhododendron and birch forest with yak pastures stupa (3,992m) to the peak of the rocky village of Mon La stupa and halt our day at the teahouse.

After breakfast we departure from Dole and steadily climb up to the Dudh Koshi Valley. As we march into the trail, we will reach above the tree line and the landscape changes into the small bunch of junipers with the rising altitude that makes uncomfortable in breathing. We will continue our hike across the rocky moraines up to the base of Kyojo Ri and Machhermo Peak and rest our day at an altitude of 4150 with a warm dinner in the Machhermo village.

Early morning, we wrap ours bag and trek to the Pangka trail with the stunning scene of melt-water rivers which flow down the west side of Ngozumpa Glacier. Slowly we ascend into the Rocky Mountains valley and trek through Longpongo lake, Taochelake (where Tibetan Ducks are often seen swimming in the freezing water), before we reach to the third lake called Dudh Pokharai at incredible Gokyo village. 

With a smooth ascend along the glacier experiencing the Himalayan wild birds and crossing the crevasses glacier river until we reach Thangna. Thangna is even known as the base camp of Chola Pass where we rest our day at the teahouse.

We will begin our trek early in the morning in the fresh atmosphere to capture the beautiful nature. As we ascend through the path; we venture the stream through the yak pastures and see Chola Pass locating at 5420m above the sea level. After we trek up into the route of Cho La Pass, we will then walk downhill into the valley called Dzongla. The Chola Pass route is even known as the dangerous trail due to its frequent changing climate. We rest ours bag at the teahouse.

Early morning, we could see the stunning panoramic views of the mountains range and resume ours trekking journey. As we drive into the trek, we could see Chola glacier flowing from the saddle between the cliffs of Cholatse and Tawache peaks with the uneven display of natural beauty. We continue our walk on the barren landscape and halt for lunch at the tea house in Duglha village. In the trek we climb up to the stone cairns, built as memorials to the many Sherpas who have died while climbing Mt Everest and eventually reach the cluster of houses at Lobuche. We enjoy our meals and set for sleep.

After having breakfast, we trail to the steeply rocky trails of Khumbu Glacier towards the settlement in Gorakshep. After we have lunch at Gorakshep, we continue our hike towards the Everest Base Camp (5,340m) from where we will again, descend back to Gorakshep for overnight stay. This wonderful village is surround by beautiful mountains including Pumori (7,145m), Lingtren (6,697m), Nuptse (7,745m) and of course Everest (8,848m).

Today is one of the memorable journeys to accomplish. After breakfast in the teahouse, we will follow the mountain trail observing the spectacular view of glacier ponds and icebergs of the Khumbu region. After climbing for some hours into the steeply track, we reach the most awaiting destination Kalapatthar. At kalapatthar we capture the breath-taking scene of sunrise view over Mount Everest (8848m), Mount Lhotse (8516m), Mount Makalu (8481m), Mount Cho Oyu (8201m), Ama Dablam (6856m), Mount Pumori (7161m), and other surrounding mountainous peaks. After spending some time with the nature, we march for ours next destination Dingboche. While walking towards Dingboche, we will observe the green pasture and the farmland popular for potato and barley. We rest our day in a teahouse.

After having warm breakfast, we will gear up our bags to explore the nature. In the trail, we will climb up into the uphill for 4hours to reach ours next destination Chhukung. Chhukung is the popular destination for the trekkers to halt for the night observing the 360-degree views of stunning Himalayas. Overnight stay in Chhukung.

Early morning, we will march into the steep way trail climbing south and then finally shifting towards east to the valley. Following the trail, we will walk along the streamside leading to a Big giant rock where we eventually catch the route to the Amphu Lapcha located at the southeast. After walking for some hours, we will get into the Imja & Lhotse glacier moraines route in the South West side of Island Peal and reach our final destination Island Peak Base Camp, where we halt for the day.

After having breakfast in base camp, we will pack out bag to ours next destination. While marching towards High Camp we capture the greenery nature with the beautiful view of Imja Glacier and the Lake. After walking for 5hours we finally reach our destination and rest the night camping on High Camp.

Today is the longest trekking of the journey. Early morning before sunrise we will start our trek climbing up to the highest altitude of the trek. While marching we walk into the short rock towards a ridgeline that makes the climbing more exciting and traverse. Today, our experienced Sherpa guide will instruct you to rope up for the glacier which comprises of several crevasses of 100m snow and ice slope. After tacking with the environment, we finally reach to the altitude of 6180m and highest of the trek to conquer the astounding summit of Island Peak. As we reach the Peak, we capture the breathtaking views of Lhotse (8516m), Amadablam, & other surrounding peaks and stroll into the beautiful scene and gear up for the return ahead. You will descend back into the retrace path back to Island Peak Base Camp and then return to Chhukung for an overnight stay.

With the long day the previous night, today we descend our journey to Tengboche. Following back the footstep, we gradually trail through a scrub juniper trees and Mani stones observing the hillside. In the trail, we walk through the rhododendron forest and cross the beautiful river Imja and reach Pangboche, where we pause our trail for lunch and stroll down to visit the oldest Gompa of the Khumbu region. Then we continue our journey until we reach Tengboche where we rest our day at tea house.

After breakfast, we resume our journey heading back to the Chhumao. Passing through the rhododendron forest with ups and down path, capturing the beautiful nature we reach the Namche where we halt for warm lunch. At Namche, we enjoy the well architecture houses and continue our trail to Chhumao. We rest our day in tea house at Chhumao.

Early morning, we wrapped ours bags and trail back to where it begins. Today is the last day of our wonderful trekking journey where we pass through forest filled with rhododendron, oak, pine and greenery biological nature. Descending down to our path we cross the Bhote Koshi river and step to our final destination Lukla. Overnight stay in Lukla.

Usually, flight from Lukla to Kathmandu is scheduled in the early morning. We take a scenic flight from Lukla to Kathmandu for about forty-five minutes. And then transfer to your hotel for refreshment. But sometimes the flight can be delayed or canceled in the mountain regions due to bad weather and other unprecedented reasons that are beyond our control.

Today, we drop you to the international airport three hours before our scheduled flight to catch to fly back to your home and pray for your Safe journey.
