When you reach Kathmandu International Airport, our team will meet you and take you to your hotel. Later in the day, our staff will explain the sightseeing tour or trip plans.

Today, after breakfast, we’ll start exploring UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu. Kathmandu Durbar Square showcases the architecture of the Malla dynasty. Swoyambhunath Temple, known as the Monkey Temple, is famous for its monkey population. Boudhanath Stupa, influenced by Tibetan Buddhism, is one of the largest stupas in Southern Asia. You can also do some shopping in the evening if needed. Meanwhile, we’ll handle the application for your Chinese visa.

Experience a breathtaking mountain flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa, Tibet, soaring over the majestic Himalayas. Upon arrival at Lhasa’s Gongkar airport, our Tibetan guide will greet you and arrange your transfer to the hotel. Take time to explore the nearby streets or simply unwind and relax at the hotel.

Acclimatization is very essential before proceeding to the higher region and to avoid altitude sickness. As Namche is tucked between two ridges of giants peaks of the Khumbu and has an abundance of lodges, tea shops, and souvenir shops. It’s an ideal place to halt and spend a day visiting the Khunde Hospital set-up by Sir Edmund Hillary or take a one hour walk up to the Everest View Hotel above Namche for the sunset view of Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Everest. Furthermore, you can even visit the Khumjung region where a school was established by Hillary and some monastery/museum nearby. You can even taste the bakery product situated at the world’s highest altitude. After going through our acclimatization drills, we head down to our lodge for some beers & good sleep at an altitude of 3440m.

Your tour leader will guide you to explore Drepung, Tibet’s largest monastic university, built in the 14th century. Next, visit Norbulingka Palace, the Dalai Lama’s summer residence, boasting the largest man-made garden in Tibet. In the afternoon, visit Sera Monastery, known for its white-washed walls and golden rooftops.

After breakfast, you’ll journey through diverse landscapes. Pause at Tampa-la pass (4790m) to admire Yamdrok Tso (4400m), a sacred lake, and Nazin Kang SA mountain (7252m). Then, cross Karo-la Pass (5045m) for breathtaking glacier views before reaching Gyantse.

After breakfast, visit Kumbum Stupa and Pelkor Monastery in Gyantse, with a distant view of Gyantse Fortress. Then, drive to Shigatse to explore the famous Tashilhunpo Monastery, founded by the 1st Dalai Lama in 1447, significant both historically and culturally.

After breakfast, head straight to Mount Everest. Pass Gyatsola Pass (5280m) where you’ll catch your first glimpse of Everest, resembling a budding lotus flower. Enter Mount Everest National Nature Reserve, and at Gawula Pass (5198m), marvel at the panoramic view of the five highest peaks, including Everest.

Drive along the new zigzag road to Everest Base Camp (5200m), where Everest gradually unfolds before you with each turn. At Everest Base Camp, witness the colossal peak of Mount Everest as the sun casts a warm glow on its northern face. As night falls, see the sparkling Milky Way against Everest’s snow-white peak, concluding your encounter with Everest. Stay overnight at Everest Base Camp or in a nearby village.

Today, you’ll travel to Kerung Border, witnessing stunning landscapes from 5200 meters to 2800 meters above sea level. In the morning, visit Rongbuk Monastery, the world’s highest monastery at 5154 meters.

Cross the Himalayas and drive to Kerung at the Sino-Nepal border, enjoying the changing scenery from snowy peaks to lush forests and canyons. Marvel at Mt. Shishabangma and Pelku Tso Lake before descending into the edge of the Himalayas.

In Kerung Valley, enjoy dense forests and snowy peaks, with fresh oxygen in Kerung town. Say goodbye to Tibet and stay overnight in Kerung.

After breakfast, bid farewell to your Tibetan guide and driver. Our Nepali staff will meet you at the Nepal border to assist with large luggage and visa application. After entering Nepal, marvel at snow-capped mountains like Gaurishankar Himal, Ganesh Himal, and Annapurna Range. Despite poor roads, enjoy scenic views of the Himalayas before reaching Kathmandu.

Now you have the option to fly back to your homeland or proceed to your next destination.
